Anna Tarter

Anna Lee G. Tarter, 87, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on December 24, 1931; daughter of the late Clide Delmer and Loida Holt Huddleston. She was a homemaker, an avid quilter, and enjoyed painting unique designs on decorative plates.

She is survived by her sister, Clyda C. Vanhook & (Smith); brothers-in-law, Lowell Tarter, J.C. Tarter, and Harold Tarter; a sister-in-law, Helen Norfleet; nieces, Tina Ann Vanhook, Gina Vanhook Saindon, Lisa Norfleet, Treana Shultz, Jayme Green, and Sherrie Tarter Lightner; she had several sitters who became close to Annalee, Debbie Whitis, Barbara Burns, Kim Dowell, Eugenia Chaney, Jeri Ann Chaney, and Jena Mae Chaney.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Hubert Tarter who passed away in 2016 and one son, Lanny Tarter

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Anna Lee Tarter will be after 11:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Pulaski Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Alzheimer's Respite Center.
