Charles Goff, age 78, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehab.
Charles was born on November 7, 1938 in Ferguson, KY to the late Green Jerry Goff and Nannie Adkins Goff. He was a Maintenance Foreman for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
He is survived by three daughters, Tresa Goff Allen (Perry) of Somerset, Connie New-Strunk of Somerset and Deidre (and Jerry) Duke of Somerset; two sisters, Edith Prewitt of Louisville and Edna Buxton of Somerset; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Hudson, Kris (and Kristen) Gibson, Chastity (and Jody) Meece, Justin (and Haley) Hampton, Austin (and Tiffany) New, Christopher (and Lauren) New, Hunter Allen and Raquel Allen; and thirteen great grandchildren, Logan Hudson, Elijah Hudson, Alyssa New, Wyatt New, Brady Gibson, Ella Kate Gibson, Sophie Gibson, London Ann New, Nolan Ross Hampton, Jaxon Cardwell, Maylie Cardwell, Kannon Tucker and Gabe Dillman.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Goff and Carl Goff; and one sister, Ruth Smith.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Elam officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
