Debra Campbell

February 2, 1954 — May 22, 2020

Debra Campbell, 66, of Ferguson, passed from this life on May 22, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Campbell; her parents, Jodie & Ollie McGlothlin; her daughters, Andrea & (T.J.) Bower and Amber & (J.R.) Parker; her three grandchildren, Logan Bower, Kayden Parker, and Brady Parker; her brother, Danny & (Almeta) McGlothlin; and multiple nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts that were dear to her heart. Debbie lived a life dedicated to her family and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Somerset First Church of the Nazarene. She ministered in music and song at her church and at a local nursing home for years. She raised her family in church and taught her children that God was most important. She never met a stranger and had a servant's heart of gold. She would literally have given the shirt off her back to someone in need. Outside of her dedication to her family, Debbie worked hard her entire life. She owned a grocery store with her husband and was a witness to endless amounts of people. She also worked at Belk, Ferrell Gas, and her last job was at South Kentucky Drywall. She loved the sun, sitting by the ocean, and taking vacations with her family. She was an avid reader and watched every cooking show she could find, as well as the game show network. She would want us to include that if you do not know Jesus as your savior to whisper a prayer right now and ask Him in your heart. Debbie lived her life with conviction and would stand up for what's right regardless of personal cost. She taught her daughters to work hard, help others, and made sure they knew what unconditional love felt like. She loved her husband and thanked God for him everyday. She loved her parents and stayed close to them her entire life. She told her grandchildren that being a Nana was one of her proudest accomplishments. Debbie was loved by a multitude and will be missed by many. She is now in the arms of Jesus and "It is well with her soul."
