Donna Stringer

Donna Faye Stringer, age 73, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Donna was born on August 25, 1946 in Somerset, KY to the late Roscoe Eugene Stringer and Mattie Lucille Tucker Stringer.  She worked as a Secretary and retired from Lake Cumberland Medical Associates after 38 years of service.  Donna was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church since 1957 and a longtime Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by one brother, Samuel Eugene (and Connie) Stringer of Somerset; two nieces, Lesley Stringer and Sherri (and Scott) Spahr; one nephew, Jason Hudson; and one great-niece, Raven Hudson.

Along with her parents Roscoe and Mattie Stringer, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Hudson.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Phelps and Bro. Harold Brown officiating.  Entombment will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Sam Stringer, Scott Spahr, Jason Hudson, Alan Ricks, Justin Ricks, Jacob Ricks and Jim Colson.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund.
