Frank Stringer

Frank Brittain Stringer, age 68, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 in Lexington.

Frank was born on October 11, 1950 in Somerset, KY to Georgia Davenport Stringer and the late Zearn Stringer.  He was a truck driver for Prairie Farms.  In his spare time he enjoyed carpentry, his pets and lending a hand to his friends and neighbors.  Frank was a devoted father and grandfather.  His family was very important to him; he loved his parents and spent all the time he could with his family and grandson.

He is survived by his mother, Georgia Stringer of Somerset; his wife, Kathy Black Stringer of Somerset; two sons, Nicholas Brittain Stringer of Somerset and Kyle Thomas Stringer of Somerset; one brother, Thomas (and Jodi) Stringer of Marietta, GA; one sister, Joyce (and Anthony) Owens of Madeira Beach, FL; one grandson, Samuel Brittain Stringer of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Zearn Stringer.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral services will follow on Monday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Paddick officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
