Gladys Christine "Chris" Loveless

Gladys Christine “Chris” Loveless, age 83, of LaGrange, KY (formerly of Somerset), passed away at Baptist Health East, St. Matthews, KY. Chris was born on February 8, 1941 at Faubush (Wayne Co) KY to Sirl McClendon and Zelma Young McClendon. Chris is a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and has also attended the United Methodist Church in LaGrange, KY. She worked in Food Service, loved to travel, enjoyed reading, square dancing, bluegrass music, loved her dog, “Tangles”…… but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Chris is survived by her daughter, Donna Ward of LaGrange, KY; her granddaughter, Tina Leavitt (Ryan) of Enid, OK; two great grandsons, George Leavitt and Dean Leavitt; three half-brothers, Clifford McClendon, Roger McClendon and Arthur McClendon; two half-sisters, Janice Armstrong and Pam Leigh; and extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by her passing.

In addition to her parents, Sirl and Zelma McClendon, Chris was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her daughter, Donald Lovell; her second husband, Dean Taylor and her third husband, Curtis Loveless; her son, Paul Lovell; her grandson, Chad Ward; and her sister, Eunice Sayers.

Visitation for Chris will be on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503. Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro Mel Wilhelm and Bro Rick Barker officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, 4790 W Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42503
