Gladys Marie Harper Taylor, age 78 of Somerset, departed this life on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on September 6, 1931 in Somerset, KY, the daughter of the late Beecher and Hettie Russell Harper. She was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by a brother, Melvin (and Betty ) Harper of Myrtle Beach, SC; three sisters, Zella Loveless of Somerset, Shirley Boyd of Indianapolis, IN, and Louise Petrey of Trenton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Ronnie Gene Harper.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 22nd at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gladys Marie Harper Taylor Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
