Lorene Jean Jasper, 88, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
She was born in Urbana Township, Illinois on April 11, 1930, daughter of the late Jim and Rosa McLin Gossett. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Hoy Jasper and Boyd Donald Jasper & (Lisa), both of Science Hill, five grandchildren, Michelle Jasper, Jason Goodin & (Vanessa), M.T. Jasper, Adam Jasper and James B. Hughes & (Angie), six great-grandchildren, Ashley Katulski, Heather Katulski, Justin Girdler, Kayla Goodin, Brianna Goodin and A.J. Hughes and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M.T. Jasper, whom she married on July 13, 1948 and who died on December 15, 2006, her parents and four sisters, Evelyn Barger, Delores Drew, Dorothy Smith and Margie McCameron.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
