Marie Secen

Marie Secen age 89, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Hospice of Cincinnati.

Marie was born June 6, 1930 to the late Arnold Lefevers and Beatrice Taylor Lefevers in Bell County, Kentucky.

Marie was of the Baptist faith and member of Slate Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and cherished her family time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Matt Secen Sr.; sons, Clell Secen, Matt Secen Jr.; brothers, Wilce Lefevers, Joe Ray Lefevers; sisters, Shirley Hollinsworth, Loretta Lefevers, Muriel Lefevers.

Marie is survived by her sons, Arnold Secen, Ronnie Secen, Danny Secen; daughters, Maureen Hughes, Deborah Secen, Sandra Gadberry, Sharon Secen, Lisa Reese; brothers, Vern Lefevers, Harold Lefevers, Larry Lefevers, Glen Lefevers, Mike Lefevers; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home with Bro. Bill Dawson officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
