Mary Erp

Mary Francis Erp passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky with her daughter Sherri by her side.
Mary was born in Lower Turkey Creek in the Delta Community of Wayne County on January 5, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Margaret Morrow Correll. She was a graduate of Wayne County High School. She married Gerald Wayne Erp on September 12, 1964 they were married 38 years until his passing. They had one daughter Sherri Lynn and two granddaughters; Laura and Shaylin.
Mary loved spending time with her family and friends as well as attending the Pulaski County Alzheimers Disease Center. She is best remembered by her infectious laugh and her ability to make others laugh as well. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is Survived by her daughter, Sherri Estes (Jim Sutherland) of Somerset two granddaughters; Laura Kirk (Luke) of Lexington, Kentucky and Shaylin Estes of Somerset, Kentucky, two siblings; Murial Morrow of Fayetteville, Georgia and Carolyn (Wayne) Riddell of Miamisburg, Ohio. Mary was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Gerald Wayne Erp, her siblings; Cloma (Oliver) Keith, Lucian (Ines) Correll, Gladys (Gayle) Sims, Beulah (Ralph) Stigall, Oral (Rosie) Correll, Edith (Jessie) Mickley, Lester Correll and Boyd (Joyce) Correll as well as her brother in law, Donald Morrow. Funeral services for Mary Erp will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till time for services. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Pulaski County Alzheimer's and Respite Center.
