Mr. Quinton C. Harmon, son of the late Cloyd and Maggie Cook Harmon, was born in Pulaski County, KY on April 7, 1925 and he departed this life on Friday, January 21, 2011 having attained the age of 85 years. He was united in marriage to Georgia Alexander Bullock Harmon for 54 years until her death in August of 2007. Survivors include; two daughters, Barbara Kirk of Somerset, KY, and June Fahrney of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Liesa Howard, and Kenda Kirk both of Somerset, KY, Rodney Bullock, Jeff, Doug, and Robert Fahrney all of Dayton, OH; eleven great grandchildren, Franki Lee Coffey, Alex Decker, Macauley Kirk, Steve, Eric & Michael Bullock, Marcus, Miranda, Deeana, Dustin & Dallas Fahrney; and four great great grandchildren and one brother, James (and Bea) Harmon, a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
Other han his parents and his beloved wife, Quinton was also preceded in death by; one sister, Georgia Owens, and five brothers, Olin Harmon, Hencil Harmon, Jake Harmon, Jay Vaughn Harmon and Carlos Harmon. Quinton was retired from General Motors, a World War II Army Veteran, and he was a member of the Fellowship Methodist Church, he was a kind person who enjoyed people and golf. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Harmon will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services.
