Roger Dale Phillips, age 53, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
Roger was born on June 24, 1965 in Pulaski County to Ervin Phillips and Paulette Childers Phillips. He was a member and deacon of Beacon Hill Baptist Church and the Woodstock Masonic Lodge #639. Roger loved camping, boating, his church and spending time with his family and friends. He was a Transport Driver for the Private Fleet of Walmart.
He is survived by his parents, Ervin and Paulette Phillips; his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Stogsdill Phillips of Somerset; one daughter, Megan (and Onno) Geise of Cincinnati, OH; one son, Joshua Phillips of Somerset; Roger's twin sister, Kim (and Darrell) Davenport of Somerset; one brother, Dwight (and Gail) Phillips of Somerset; and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12:00pm until 2:30pm at Beacon Hill Baptist Church in Somerset. Masonic Rites will takes place at 12:00pm.
His funeral service will follow on Saturday at 2:30pm at Beacon Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Bray officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
