Sharon Neikirk

Sharon Rae Denham Neikirk, 74 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on October 6, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Garvel Denham and Lois Fisher Denham. After graduating high school, Sharon made a career of helping others. She was a program specialist with the Community Action Program of Pulaski County for several years. She was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed computer games, making floral arrangements, eating out and shopping. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Sharon leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters; Courtney Neikirk and Rachel Neikirk Axon, a brother; Jackson (Kay) Denham of Somerset, two sisters; Anita Denham Adams of Somerset, Kentucky and Linda Goff of Birmingham, Alabama, two grandchildren; Lindsey and Katie Axon as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
