Thea Arroyo

Tiadora “Thea” Acosta Arroyo, age 74, of Nancy, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning, October 5, 2019.
Thea was born November 7, 1944, in Fremont, California, daughter to the late Tiadora Deborba Acosta and Ysidro Acosta.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Arroyo; two sons, Phillip Arroyo and Arthur Arroyo; and her grandchildren, Devin Coil and Hunter Arroyo.
Thea was loved by her family, her friends and all whom she would meet. Her grace and beauty showed in the way she carried herself, and through the wisdom she gifted. Thea would bring joy to others with her beautiful smile. Her Native American Apache-Chirakawa roots was something she treasured all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Michael Arroyo.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., in the mausoleum of Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
A Celebration of the Life of Tiadora “Thea” Acosta Arroyo will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the cemetery mausoleum, with Rev. Jack Keiffer officiating.
