Tony Russell Cunnagin, age 84, of Somerset, KY, departed this life on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
Tony was born on September 8, 1932, in Tyner, Kentucky to the late Cap Cunnagin and Polly Lakes Cunnagin. He was a self-employed Masonry Contractor and member of Cumberland Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Porter Cunnagin; a son, Eric Shane (and Carrie Ann) Cunnagin of Somerset; two daughters, Lisa Cunnagin of Somerset and Lori Beth Prather of Lexington; one brother, Jurl (and Katherine) Cunnagin of Somerset; and six grandchildren, Erika, Alexandria, Mason, Ashlan, Caden and Addison.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elbert Cunnagin, Billy Cunnagin and Ray Cunnagin; and two sisters, Ineda Turner and June Daws.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will follow on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 12:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Don Moss officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Potter's Childrens' Home or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
