William Harvey Phelps, 71, of the Shopville community in Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
He was born in Eubank, Kentucky on January 17, 1947, son of the late Jamie and Thelma Harrington Phelps. He was owner of Phelps Powerline and Bluegrass Electric. He was a chairman for the Southeastern Water District and a member of West Somerset Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Maybrier Phelps, one son, David & (Suzetta) Phelps, two daughters, Tina & (Barry) Morrow and Amanda Nichols, one sister, Patsy Crowe, five grandchildren, Amber Frye, Dusty Phelps, Lexi Morrow, Hayden Reynolds and Zachary Nichols and two great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Frye and Braylee Phelps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Johnny Lewis, Rocky Phelps, Ronnie Phelps, Robert Phelps and Joe Phelps and one sister, Kay Keeney.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 24, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 12 Noon Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
The family requests donations be made to the Galilean Home Ministries, P.O. Box 880, Liberty, KY 42539.
